Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Personal/Private Chef for our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in kitchen management and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes and ensuring that high standards of hospitality and service are maintained.

Accommodations on site from Thursday to Sunday at a cost of $20 per night

Must have proper uniform that consist of White chef jacket (short sleeve is preferred), black pants, black apron and new black kitchen shoes - must have an extra pair that can be worn outside. Indoor shoes are not to be worn outside

Working shift is from Thursday 12pm to Sunday 12pm, Long weekends shift is from Thursday 12pm to Monday 12pm

Average earning is $350 per day - 3 days a week average

Must have your own vehicle

Duties

Cooking - Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Brunch on Sundays
Preparing meals for the client and their guests
Responsible for the preparation of meals for all staff on site
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Collaborate with client to develop menus and special offerings to be created weekly.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
Purchasing of groceries at markets
Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
Washing and cleaning of area and dishes

Qualifications

Proven experience as a high level Chef within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing kitchen operations.
Familiarity with food handling techniques and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Rosseau, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
