Reports to: President

Status: Full time position

The Inside Sales Representative will play an active role in customer sales & support, selling automation components such as servo motors, linear actuators, and other hardware for automated machinery and robotics. This position is on the front line of customer communications, dealing with customers in a professional and ethical manner, and will play an important role in the development of a positive company image and to the company’s success.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Qualify leads supplied through marketing efforts
Tracking and following up on leads
Build quotations on standard products
Communicate lead times to customers
Communicate with engineers to ensure efficient follow up on non standard orders Develop and publish brand driven communications for Web and Social media Provide first line technical product qualification and support
Limited travel within North America

Required Skills and Knowledge

Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Highly proficient computer skills
Excellent telephone sales personality skills
Excellent time management skills
Highly energetic self-starter
Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities
Should be honest, assertive and systematic
Post secondary education preferred
Education or experience in the field of Software Development, Electronics, Mechatronics or Roboticsis preferred
Solidworks and Visual Studio experience is a plus
