Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills within a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. The position requires a passion for food service, strong kitchen experience, and a commitment to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices
Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Support the team during busy service hours by serving guests promptly and courteously
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and handling
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during shifts

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and meal preparation techniques
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
