Position Description: Clark Builders is hiring a Foreman for projects in Kamloops, BC! The Foreman will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work area.

Reporting to: Superintendent

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures.
Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions.
Lead QA/QC checks and inspections.
Lead site specific orientations and tailgate meetings.
Draft and submit RFI’s.
Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off site.
Other duties as required.
Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner.
Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures.

Skills and Knowledge:

Experience working under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model.
The ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and communicate this information to others.
Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
Conflict resolution.
The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season.

Qualifications:

Journeyperson trade certification.
Carpentry experience is preferred.
8+ years of construction experience.
Valid first aid certificate an asset.
Valid Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 is an asset.

Comments:

Wage Range: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Local candidates only will be considered.
