The Opportunity
We are looking for a high performing Senior Technical Solutions Delivery Manager to own the technical delivery and implementation of VoPay solutions for our enterprise customers. This is a critical post sales role responsible for taking ownership of a customer implementation following contract signature and guiding it through integration, testing, production readiness, and successful go live.
You will receive the solution architecture and requirements established during the pre sales process and translate them into an executable implementation plan. Working directly with customer product and engineering teams, you will serve as the primary technical delivery owner throughout the implementation lifecycle. This is a hands on technical role. You will be expected to understand customer architectures, work directly with APIs and webhooks, analyze requests and responses, troubleshoot integrations, identify technical blockers, and guide customers toward successful implementation decisions.
Your ultimate objective is simple: get customers successfully integrated, live, and transacting on VoPay as efficiently as possible.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Solution Handoff & Implementation Planning

Take ownership of newly signed customers following the formal handoff from Sales and the Technical Solutions Pre Sales team.

Review and validate the agreed solution architecture, business requirements, use cases, payment flows, technical dependencies, and implementation scope.

Translate the proposed solution into a detailed technical implementation plan with clear milestones, responsibilities, dependencies, and timelines.

Identify potential implementation risks and technical gaps early and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

Establish clear implementation expectations with both customer and internal stakeholders.
Technical Integration & Solution Delivery

Act as the primary technical point of contact for customer product and engineering teams throughout implementation.

Guide customers through integration with VoPay's APIs, webhooks, SDKs, authentication methods, and platform capabilities.

Work directly with customer developers to troubleshoot API requests and responses, payload structures, authentication issues, webhook configurations, transaction workflows, and integration errors.

Use tools such as Postman, API logs, developer tools, and sandbox environments to diagnose and resolve technical integration issues.

Provide implementation guidance and technical recommendations based on customer architecture and use cases.

Ensure integrations follow VoPay's technical standards, security requirements, and recommended implementation practices.
End to End Delivery Ownership

Own the customer implementation lifecycle from contract signature through successful production launch.

Establish and manage implementation milestones, technical dependencies, customer deliverables, internal deliverables, and launch timelines.

Coordinate resources across Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Customer Success, and other internal teams as required.

Proactively identify and remove technical blockers that could delay implementation.
-
Maintain clear visibility into implementation status, risks, dependencies, and next steps for both customers and internal stakeholders.

Manage multiple concurrent enterprise implementations while maintaining delivery quality and customer experience.

Escalate critical risks and dependencies early and drive them toward resolution.
Testing, Production Readiness & Go Live

Guide customers through sandbox testing and end to end validation of their integration.
-
Define and manage testing requirements and production readiness criteria.
-
Validate critical transaction flows, webhooks, error handling, reconciliation processes, permissions, and other implementation requirements.

Coordinate internal and customer stakeholders during production activation and go live.
-
Ensure technical, operational, security, and compliance dependencies are completed prior to production launch.

Support customers through their initial production transactions and help resolve launch related issues.

Ensure a structured handoff to Customer Success following successful implementation and stabilization.
Platform & Payments Expertise
-
Develop deep expertise across VoPay's platform, architecture, APIs, and product capabilities.
-
Understand the complete lifecycle of financial transactions, including initiation, authorization, funding, settlement, returns, failures, reconciliation, and reporting.

Understand and advise customers on VoPay capabilities including payment orchestration, ledger and wallet functionality, multi tenant architecture, process automation, transaction management, and financial data.

Maintain strong knowledge of payment rails and money movement methods including EFT, ACH, Interac, real time payments, and other supported payment methods.
-
Understand the technical and operational implications of KYC, KYB, AML, security, and compliance requirements within customer implementations.

Stay current on new VoPay products, APIs, integrations, platform enhancements, and technical capabilities.
Scope & Change Management
-
Ensure implementations remain aligned with the solution and scope agreed during the sales process.

Identify requirements that represent configuration, standard integration, product gaps, custom development, or changes to the agreed scope.

Work with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to assess new requirements and determine the appropriate path forward.

Prevent uncontrolled scope expansion from impacting customer timelines or internal resources.
-
Clearly communicate technical limitations, dependencies, alternatives, and tradeoffs to customers and internal stakeholders.
Cross Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Technical Solutions Pre Sales to ensure a structured transition from solution design into implementation.

Work with Sales to understand commercial commitments and customer expectations established during the sales process.

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to resolve technical issues and identify product gaps.

Work with Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams where implementation requirements involve financial operations or regulatory dependencies.

Partner with Customer Success to ensure a smooth transition from implementation into ongoing customer management and platform adoption.

Provide structured customer feedback and recurring implementation insights to Product and Engineering teams.
Delivery Process & Documentation

Develop and continuously improve technical implementation playbooks, onboarding frameworks, checklists, testing procedures, and go live processes.

Maintain clear implementation documentation for each customer.
-
Contribute to API documentation, integration guides, sample payloads, code examples, troubleshooting guides, and developer resources.

Identify recurring implementation challenges and work with Product and Engineering to reduce integration complexity.

Help build scalable delivery processes that enable VoPay to support increasing volumes of enterprise implementations.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in technical implementation, solutions delivery, integration engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.

Demonstrated experience owning complex enterprise customer implementations from technical kickoff through production launch.

Strong hands on experience working with RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication methods, and SDKs.

Ability to read and troubleshoot code in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Node.js, PHP, Java, or C#.

Experience using API testing and troubleshooting tools such as Postman, Insomnia, developer tools, and application logs.
-
Strong understanding of modern SaaS and API based software architectures.

Experience working directly with customer product managers, developers, technical leads, and engineering teams.
-
Strong technical problem solving and diagnostic capabilities.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Strong organizational and delivery management capabilities with experience managing multiple concurrent customer implementations.

Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment where technical, product, operational, and customer requirements intersect.
Preferred Experience
-
Previous experience in payments, fintech, embedded finance, banking infrastructure, or money movement platforms.
-
Strong understanding of payment transaction lifecycles including authorization, settlement, funding, returns, reconciliation, and exception handling.

Experience working with ACH, EFT, real time payments, card payments, or other payment networks.

Understanding of ledger systems, wallets, multi tenant platforms, payment orchestration, or financial operations infrastructure.

Familiarity with KYC, KYB, AML, PCI DSS, and other financial services compliance requirements.
-
Experience implementing solutions for SaaS platforms, marketplaces, financial institutions, or enterprise customers with complex money movement requirements.

Experience coordinating technical delivery across Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and customer teams.
