Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team in a dynamic hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house activities. This position requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. The Front of House Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, enhancing guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. Must be available evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery at all times.
Assist in the interviewing and training of new team members to maintain a high-quality workforce.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
Manage cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to company policies.
Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
Monitor daily operations to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Implement strategies for improving service efficiency and enhancing overall guest experiences.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for hospitality and customer service excellence.
Experience in supervising staff within a hotel or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and financial transactions.
Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff, including cooks, to ensure smooth operations.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the front-of-house area.
