Our long-term vision is to develop a powerful e-commerce operation that can support multiple corporate and franchise locations across Canada.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a results-driven E-Commerce Launch & Sales Manager to build, launch and scale our online sales division from the ground up.
You will take ownership of the complete e-commerce sales journey—from marketplace setup, product listings and pricing to customer acquisition, conversion, fulfillment and performance reporting.
Your first priority is clear: generate profitable sales.
This is not a position focused only on creating listings, posting content or managing advertisements. We need a hands-on business builder who can establish the required systems, launch the right channels and grow the division to at least $200,000 in profitable monthly net sales.
What You Will Build
You will develop a scalable e-commerce operation across:

● Amazon
● Walmart Marketplace
● Best Buy Marketplace
● eBay
● Facebook Marketplace
● B2B and wholesale channels
● Additional platforms supported by a clear business case
Platforms will be launched strategically based on approval requirements, profitability and operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Launch and Operations
● Develop and execute CA‑Mart’s complete e-commerce launch strategy
● Set up, organize and optimize marketplace accounts and storefronts
● Build product catalogs, categories, descriptions and pricing structures
● Establish inventory synchronization, order processing and fulfillment procedures
● Coordinate inventory and online orders between both retail locations
● Maintain accurate product information, pricing and availability
● Monitor marketplace compliance, customer ratings and account health
● Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate technical support when required
Sales and Revenue Growth
● Generate and close online cellphone, accessory and electronics sales
● Build both B2C retail and B2B wholesale revenue
● Develop strategies to increase traffic, conversions, average order value and repeat purchases
● Respond to customer inquiries and implement effective follow-up systems
● Create competitive offers while maintaining company-approved profit margins
● Identify new products, sales channels and growth opportunities
● Recruit, train and manage online sales representatives as the division grows
● Build a repeatable sales system capable of supporting future locations
Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition
● Plan and oversee SEO, Google Ads, Meta advertising, email marketing and marketplace promotions
● Conduct keyword and competitor research to improve product visibility
● Optimize product titles, descriptions, images and landing pages
● Coordinate with designers and content creators on sales-focused creative assets
● Monitor advertising costs and ensure campaigns generate profitable results
● Develop remarketing and customer-retention strategies
● Improve the complete online customer journey from discovery to purchase
Analytics and Reporting
● Track net sales, gross profit, conversion rates, advertising returns and customer-acquisition costs
● Monitor marketplace fees, discounts, refunds, cancellations and chargebacks
● Use Shopify analytics, Google Analytics and marketplace reporting tools
● Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly performance reports
● Use customer and sales data to identify problems and growth opportunities
● Present clear recommendations supported by numbers
Performance Roadmap
Phase 1: Build
Establish the marketplace accounts, product catalog, pricing, inventory, fulfillment, customer-service and reporting systems.
Phase 2: Launch
Launch Shopify and the marketplaces offering the fastest path to sustainable, profitable sales.
Phase 3: Scale
Expand successful channels, introduce additional marketplaces, develop B2B sales and build the online sales team.
Phase 4: Expand
Reach and maintain a minimum of $200,000 in profitable monthly net sales and prepare the system to support additional CA‑Mart locations.
The $200,000 monthly target will become active after the required marketplace access, inventory, pricing and fulfillment capacity are operational.
Required Qualifications
● Proven experience launching or significantly scaling an e-commerce business
● Demonstrated history of generating measurable online sales revenue
● Strong knowledge of online sales funnels and customer-journey optimization
● Hands-on experience with Shopify and at least two major online marketplaces
● Strong sales, negotiation, customer follow-up and closing abilities
● Experience with marketplace listings, pricing, inventory and fulfillment
● Understanding of gross profit, platform fees, returns and advertising ROI
● Experience with SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads and digital analytics
● Strong leadership, organization and project-management abilities
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to take ownership and execute with limited supervision
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience selling cellphones, electronics or other high-value products
● Experience with Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, eBay or Facebook Marketplace
● B2B or wholesale sales experience
● Experience recruiting or managing an online sales team
● Familiarity with product feeds, email marketing and inventory integrations
● Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS or website troubleshooting
● Experience coordinating with designers, developers and marketing professionals
Advanced graphic design, SQL and software-development skills are not required. Specialized technical work may be assigned to appropriate team members or contractors.
Compensation and Growth
● Base salary of $60,000–$75,000, based on verified experience
● Uncapped monthly incentives based on profitable net sales
● Additional incentives for B2B and wholesale growth
● Three-month performance review
● Opportunity to build and lead the complete e-commerce department
● Future opportunity to participate in CA‑Mart’s franchise-development program after the online sales system is successfully established
