We are looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to help improve our online visibility, measure digital performance, and strengthen our market position across search engines, social media, review platforms, tourism channels, partner websites, and AI-powered discovery tools.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both marketing and data. The successful candidate will help us understand how customers find us, how we compare to competitors, what digital activities are working, and where we can improve.
The role will also include tracking how the business appears in AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other answer-based platforms. The goal is to ensure the business is described accurately, appears in relevant recommendations, and is supported by clear, credible online content.
Key Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Analyst may assist with:
- Tracking website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Rank Math, Yoast, or similar platforms.
- Monitoring SEO performance, including keyword rankings, search impressions, click-through rates, indexed pages, backlinks, and local search visibility.
- Analyzing how the business ranks for important search terms.
- Comparing online visibility, pricing, reviews, messaging, and positioning against key competitors.
- Reviewing social media performance, including reach, engagement, follower growth, clicks, shares, comments, and conversion-related activity.
- Monitoring Google Business Profile, TripAdvisor, tourism listings, partner websites, review platforms, and other online channels.
- Analyzing customer reviews and online feedback to identify common themes, strengths, pain points, and competitive advantages.
- Preparing simple dashboards and reports that summarize marketing performance, trends, and recommended actions.
- Tracking campaign performance for promotions, partnerships, email marketing, social media posts, blog articles, and landing pages.
- Recommending improvements to website content, FAQs, blog posts, landing pages, business profiles, partner listings, backlinks, and directory listings.
- Creating or refining marketing content where needed, using data and customer insights to guide priorities.
AI/LLM Visibility Responsibilities
A growing part of this role will be understanding how the business appears in AI-powered search and answer tools. This may include:
- Testing common customer prompts in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and similar tools.
- Tracking whether the business appears in AI-generated recommendations.
- Analyzing how accurately AI platforms describe the company, competitors, services, strengths, and market position.
- Identifying missing, outdated, or inaccurate information in AI-generated answers.
- Reviewing which third-party sources, reviews, directories, backlinks, tourism listings, and partner websites may influence AI-generated results.
- Recommending content updates that make the business easier for AI tools and search engines to understand.
- Tracking AI visibility and positioning over time.

The successful candidate may help prepare clear, practical and action-oriented reports covering:
- Website traffic trends, organic search performance, keyword changes, and local SEO visibility.
- Google Business Profile performance, review volume, ratings, and sentiment themes.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable turning data into useful recommendations. They should enjoy looking at numbers, spotting patterns, comparing competitors, testing search and AI prompts, and explaining results in plain language.
They do not need to be an expert in every marketing platform, but they should be interested in how SEO, social media, reviews, local search, content, partnerships, and AI-powered discovery work together to shape market positioning.
