Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to work in the morning in our dynamic restaurant team. the ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, hospitality, and guest relations within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with sanitation standards
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Provide guest services that promote satisfaction and encourage repeat visits

Skills

Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and food handling procedures
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Excellent time management skills to serve guests promptly without compromising quality
Basic math skills for accurate order entry and cash handling
Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided
Effective communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
Hospitality-oriented attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance the dining experience

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
