We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to provide a warm welcome and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Reporting to the Front Desk Supervisors, you will be responsible for assisting guests throughout their entire stay, from reservation to departure, while ensuring their satisfaction and upholding Mount Stephen’s high service standards.
- Welcome guests with professionalism and courtesy upon arrival and departure;
- Handle reservations and ensure the accuracy of guest information in the system;
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and activities in the area;
- Promote the hotel’s products and services to enhance the guest experience;
- Process transactions and collect payments according to established procedures;
- Coordinate individual and group arrivals and departures;
- Answer phone calls and direct requests to the appropriate departments;
- Manage special requests and sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion;
- Actively contribute to delivering an outstanding guest experience;
- Perform any other customer service-related duties as required.
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant training (an asset);
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge of hotel management systems, particularly Hotello;
- Good knowledge of Montreal and its main tourist attractions.
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Excellent hospitality and personalized service skills;
- Ability to quickly identify and respond to guest needs;
- Capacity to work efficiently under pressure;
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;
- Team player with a positive attitude;
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and professional.
Languages: Bilingualism (French and English) spoken and written is required for this position, as we serve international clients.
