Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in multiple construction tasks. As a Journeyperson Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work for multi-unit properties and single family dwellings while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.

Responsibilities

Carpentry Work: Perform all aspects of carpentry, including framing and finishing.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to complete projects accurately.
Installation & Repairs: Install doors, windows, trim, and other fixtures, and perform repairs as needed.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
Material Handling: Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision using hand and power tools.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, contractors, and clients to meet project goals and deadlines.
Problem Solving: Identify and address issues on-site to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience as a carpenter with a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques.
Experience with custom builds and renovations is an assest
Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.
Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
