Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller – Real Estate to oversee the financial operations of our real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, experience with various accounting software, and a comprehensive understanding of financial management within the real estate sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making to drive the company's growth and stability.

Duties

Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms to maintain accurate financial records.
Perform account reconciliations and conduct detailed account analysis to ensure data integrity.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and monitor budgets for various projects and property portfolios, providing insights for cost control and profitability enhancement.
Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve operational efficiency.
Provide financial insights and reports to senior management to support strategic planning and investment decisions.

Experience

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within the real estate industry or related fields.
Strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Extensive experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
Demonstrated expertise in managing accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, budgeting, account reconciliation, and account analysis.
Familiarity with real estate financial operations including property management accounting is preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial health of our real estate operations while working in a dynamic environment that values professionalism and expertise.

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
