Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Concrete Carpenter to join our team. This role focuses on high-quality formwork, exposed concrete finishes, and precision work including paving stone and wall block installations.

Responsibilities:

Build and install formwork for architectural and structural concrete (walls, slabs, columns, and features)
Work on exposed concrete requiring high-quality finishes and precise detailing
Install paving stones and wall blocks as part of exterior and landscape work
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans
Measure, cut, and assemble formwork using wood, plywood, and engineered systems
Ensure accuracy in alignment, elevation, and finish quality
Collaborate with supervisors and project teams to meet schedules and specifications
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Qualifications:

Experience in formwork carpentry or architectural concrete construction, preferably in the landscaping or outdoor construction industry.
Familiarity with a wide range of hand and power tools used in carpentry and outdoor construction.
Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to outdoor structures and landscaping.
Experience with paving stone and wall block installation (asset)
High attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong understanding of construction safety practices
Salary according to experience
