About the Opportunity
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused Field Technicians to support TELUS residential services across the Greater Toronto Area.
Technical experience is helpful, but it is not the only thing we are looking for.
We are open to training the right person if they are reliable, hungry to learn, comfortable speaking with customers, and motivated to build a strong career in the telecom, smart home, and security industry.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys meeting people, solving problems, working with their hands, and identifying customer needs while onsite.

What You’ll Be Doing
You will visit customer homes to install, repair, troubleshoot, and support TELUS smart home, internet, TV, phone, Wi-Fi, security, camera, and related services.
Your work may include:
Installing and servicing smart home security systems.
Installing and troubleshooting internet, TV, phone, Wi-Fi, cameras, and low-voltage equipment.
Completing residential service calls across the GTA.
Explaining equipment, services, and solutions to customers in a simple and professional way.
Identifying customer needs and recommending additional TELUS services when appropriate.
Providing a strong customer-first experience during every visit.
Handling customer questions and concerns respectfully.
Completing work orders and required documentation accurately.
Maintaining clean, safe, and professional workmanship.
Following company procedures, safety expectations, and quality standards.
No Technical Experience?
That is okay.
We are open to candidates without telecom or alarm experience if you have the right mindset.

Sales & Customer Experience Focus
This role includes customer interaction and sales awareness.
You do not need to be pushy. But you must be comfortable speaking with customers, listening to their needs, and recommending TELUS products or services when there is a good fit.
We are especially interested in candidates who can combine great customer service with a sales mindset.
Requirements
Must have a reliable vehicle.
Must have or be willing to get basic tools.
Must have or be willing to get a ladder.
Valid driver’s licence required.
Vehicle insurance required.
Must be able to travel across assigned areas in the GTA.
Must be comfortable working inside residential homes.
Must be physically able to lift, bend, climb, carry equipment, and work in basements, utility areas, and outdoor conditions.
Strong English communication skills required.
Additional languages are a strong asset, including Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Mandarin, Cantonese, Tagalog, Arabic, Spanish, or other languages commonly spoken across the GTA.
