Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Server Assistant and be a vital part of creating memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will support our servers and kitchen staff by ensuring smooth operations, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional guest service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive. Duties

Assist servers with setting up tables, refilling supplies, and clearing dishes to ensure efficient service flow
Support food preparation tasks such as plating, garnishing, and organizing orders for timely delivery
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and restocking supplies
Running and bussing food from tables is a main priority of this job.
Polishing glassware, restocking the bar
Handle food handling responsibilities following safety standards to ensure quality and hygiene
Support cashiering activities by assisting with cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) transactions using systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate meal service and guest requests
Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation procedures and food handling protocols

Qualifications

Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
Familiarity with POS systems like Clover POS or cashiering procedures enhances your ability to support the team effectively
Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with guests and staff in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper cleaning procedures to maintain hygiene standards
Hospitality or hotel experience, barista experience, or a guest services background are valuable assets
