The Team Lead, Electrical Engineering will be responsible for leading a team of engineers focused on the design, development, and implementation of the electrical systems and related subsystems across the Arctic Offshore Patrol Ship (AOPS) and River Class Destroyer (RCD) Projects at Irving Shipbuilding Inc. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical systems and leadership skills to ensure successful delivery of solutions that meets program requirements and timelines.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or eligibility
- Experience developing and implementing test plans and procedures for electrical systems;
- 7+ years of design and integration experience with complex electrical systems;
- 2+ years leading or managing technical teams including team member task work assignments
- 2+ years managing projects and/or subcontractors;
Experience in aspects of marine electrical systems, including shipboard electrical control systems, and the integration of platform systems into a control system.
