Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. Your expertise will help streamline accounting processes, maintain compliance, and provide valuable insights through precise account analysis. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your skills in accounting software and financial management will make a significant impact.

Responsibilities

Manage and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities using accounting software such as QuickBooks
Perform detailed account reconciliations for bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintain and update financial records, including ledger entries, journal entries, and expense reports
Process payroll accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable to optimize cash flow and vendor relationships
Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, or irregularities that require attention
Assist in budgeting processes by providing accurate financial data and insights for planning purposes

Experience

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
Demonstrated expertise in bank reconciliation, account analysis, and ledger management
Experience handling payroll processing with attention to detail and compliance requirements
Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable workflows and best practices
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external vendors
