The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Finance (or designate), you'll play an important role in keeping our day-to-day financial operations running smoothly.
You'll support the finance team through accurate bookkeeping, timely processing, reconciliations, and administrative accounting functions that help ensure our financial information is reliable, compliant, and decision-ready.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute beyond data entry. We value people who ask questions, identify opportunities for improvement, and take pride in making processes more efficient.
What You'll Be Doing
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable accurately and on time
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Prepare weekly payment runs
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer accounts
- Resolve invoice discrepancies with customers and vendors
- Create and maintain purchase orders and sales orders
- Organize receipts and maintain audit-ready records
- Support month-end and year-end accounting activities
- Assist with other finance and administrative duties as required
What You BringQualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or a related field
- 1-3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Manufacturing experience is considered an asset
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong asset
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall Microsoft Office proficiency
