Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate TANDOOR CHEF/COOK to join our vibrant culinary team. This role involves preparing authentic tandoori dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring high-quality food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, cooking, and managing kitchen operations, with a strong focus on food safety and hospitality. This position offers an opportunity to showcase leadership skills and contribute to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic tandoori dishes according to established recipes and standards
Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service
Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict adherence to food safety regulations
Manage the entire food preparation process, including marinating, grilling, and plating dishes
Monitor kitchen inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with health standards
Lead and motivate team members to foster a collaborative and productive work environment
Serve dishes to customers with professionalism and hospitality, ensuring customer satisfaction
Assist in training new staff members on food preparation techniques and safety protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant management, preferably within the food industry or hospitality sector
Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and service excellence
Familiarity with restaurant operations and customer service best practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Passion for culinary arts, particularly authentic tandoori cuisine
Prior experience serving guests in a restaurant setting is preferred
