Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler / Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, soldering, testing, and inspecting radio remote control units and electro-mechanical assemblies used in industrial applications, including equipment such as concrete pump trucks, skid steers, and tow trucks.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electrical or electronic assembly, can interpret schematic diagrams, perform precise soldering and wiring, and troubleshoot basic assembly issues. You should be comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test radio remote control units and related electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions with guidance as required.
- Perform electrical prototyping and wiring using hand tools and specialized assembly equipment.
- Use wire strippers, wire and lug crimpers, connector insertion/extraction tools, and soldering equipment.
- Perform basic soldering of electronic components, primarily through-hole components with some surface-mount (SMD) work.
- Complete mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly accurately and consistently.
- Perform cable and wire assembly, including routing, fastening, terminating, and labeling.
- Troubleshoot basic electrical, wiring, soldering, and assembly issues.
- Identify, document, and report assembly errors or quality concerns during the build process.
- Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship, proper wiring, and basic functionality.
- Follow established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
- Work independently with minimal supervision once training and instructions have been provided.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in electrical assembly, electronic assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams, or willingness to learn.
- Hands-on experience with soldering tools and techniques.
- Comfortable using hand tools and small assembly equipment.
- Experience with wire preparation, crimping, connectors, and cable assembly is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
- Strong focus on quality and workmanship.
- Working knowledge of Syteline and/or SAP ERP systems is an asset.

Pay: $26.00-$27.00 per hour
