Billing Supervisor needed for Westcan Bulk Transport Ltd.

The Billing Supervisor is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end customer billing process, ensuring accurate, timely invoicing while driving process excellence, and strong cash flow performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Train workers in duties and policies
Prepare and submit reports
Ensure accuracy of financial transactions
Co-ordinate, assign and review work
Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess financial performance
Arrange for billing for services
Maintain accurate records
Monitor financial control systems
Offer mentoring
Invoice clients
Document investigations and conclusions/recommendations
Identifying and investigating compliance issues
Prepare monthly statements
Calculate billing charges
Establish and implement policies and procedures for information systems
Leading/instructing individuals
Monitor department’s performance
Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control

Supervision:

5-10 people
Accounting and related clerks

Experience and specialization

Communication protocols: EDI

Computer and technology knowledge: Automatic data processing (ADP), MS Great Plains (GP), MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Spreadsheet, Accounting software

Service experience

Salary: $45.67 hourly/ 40 hours per Week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible

Requirements / Skills: Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Workplace information: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
