Full job description

Join Our Growing Team as a CWB Certified Welder!

Position Details:

Shift: Weekend Shift
Friday to Sunday (12-hour shifts)
5:15 AM to 5:45 PM (includes an additional 4 paid hours to reach 40/week)
Pay: $28 - $34 (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Robotically weld parts together according to drawings and specifications.
Responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and monitoring robotic welders, and set up of robotic welders.
Debugging, programming, and path editing, repairing and replacing damaged components such as weld guns, and electrodes, troubleshooting, and developing root cause analysis of machine and welder issues.
Ensure all tasks are performed in the allotted time.
Inspection of all welds to ensure conformance to specifications.
Assure that 1st off/1st part is inspected and meets Quality Assurance requirements.
Able to read and interpret the shop manufacturing drawings.
Basic maintenance of Welding and Set-up equipment in addition to ensuring gas and wire as required for the following shift.
Other reasonable tasks and duties, as required.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of experience with robot welding.
Experience in maintaining robotic weld cells (programming and setting up an asset).
Experience in the use of tape measures, vernier caliper, and other measuring tools.
Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet while using tools to perform repetitive tasks.
Mathematical and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to understand complex instructions, how schematics work, and make sure items are designed and built correctly.
Strong problem-solving skills - understand why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output and how to fix errors.
Ability to work both independently and with supervision.
