Full job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, customer-focused Client Success Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service, timely communication, and overall customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with customers throughout the order process while identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of customer accounts.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and support.
Manage customer orders from initial inquiry through completion, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
Monitor order status, communicate updates proactively, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services where appropriate.
Collaborate with internal departments including graphics, production, logistics, and accounting to ensure customer expectations are met.
Address customer concerns professionally and efficiently to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate customer records and activity within CRM systems.
Track and report on account activity, customer feedback, and overall account performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, account coordination, account management, or business development.
Proven track record of growing customer accounts, identifying sales opportunities, increasing customer retention, and building long term client relationships through proactive account management.
Strong relationship building, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage customers at all levels.
Proven ability to manage multiple customer accounts in a fast paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service and achieving business objectives.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to problem solve, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, packaging, or distribution environment would be considered an asset.
