Full job description

Role Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and overall performance of the retail location. This role drives sales performance, delivers an outstanding customer experience, oversees store operations, and develops the in-store team in line with DJI brand and service standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on retail leader who is comfortable balancing sales, people management, customer experience, inventory, and daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, transaction handling, and inventory control
Set and drive store sales targets and monitor key performance indicators, including conversion rate, average transaction value, and units per transaction
Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, coach, and develop Sales Representatives
Conduct regular performance check-ins and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
Create a high-performance sales culture while maintaining an exceptional customer experience
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable provincial employment standards
Maintain visual merchandising standards and product demonstration areas in accordance with DJI brand guidelines
Manage stock levels, inventory accuracy, loss prevention, and coordination with supply chain and logistics teams
Handle escalated customer service matters, warranty and repair intake, and after-sales support
Prepare and communicate weekly and monthly store performance updates
Support new product launches, promotional campaigns, special events, and future store-opening initiatives
Stay current on DJI products, product updates, promotions, and relevant technology
Perform other duties as required to support evolving store and business needs

Requirements

2+ years of retail management experience; experience in consumer electronics, technology, photography, premium retail, or similar industries is preferred
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Experience managing retail sales performance and KPIs
Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Comfortable working with POS systems, inventory management systems, Excel, and basic business reporting
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the store for extended periods during a shift
Must successfully complete a background check where permitted by applicable law

Nice to Have

Experience with consumer drones, cameras, gimbals, stabilization products, or other imaging technology
Previous management experience in a consumer electronics or premium technology retail environment
Experience supporting new store openings or product launches
Post-secondary education in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
Existing knowledge of DJI products
Additional language skills are an asset
