Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Part-Time Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises. This role involves monitoring the property, preventing loss, and maintaining a secure environment for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, experience in surveillance, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. This position offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment with an emphasis on security excellence.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches
Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, to oversee all areas of the property
Enforce loss prevention policies by observing and deterring theft or vandalism
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement if necessary
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations
Control access points by verifying credentials of visitors and employees
Report any safety hazards or security concerns to management immediately
Assist in emergency situations by following established safety procedures and protocols

Qualifications

Prior experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred
Knowledge of surveillance systems and CCTV operation is highly desirable
Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
Ability to pass background checks and any required screening processes
