Full job description

Are you an experienced application support professional looking to make an immediate impact on enterprise billing systems? Our Edmonton client is seeking a skilled Systems Analyst for an initial 5-month contract through December 31, 2026, with potential for extension. In this role, you will maintain core code bases, resolve production incidents, and implement system upgrades within a collaborative technical environment.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support enterprise business software applications.
Resolve production application issues and critical incidents with urgency.
Develop SQL scripts and perform database support across Oracle and SQL Server.
Maintain and improve application source code written in Java or .NET.
Document technical workflow processes and application configurations.
Utilize network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and Netcat to diagnose system issues.
Contribute technical expertise to major projects and continuous improvement tasks.

Qualifications

Proven experience supporting enterprise applications in a production setting.
Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL programming against enterprise databases.
Background in Java, C# .NET, or PowerShell application support and development.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex software issues efficiently.
Familiarity with deployment tools, source control platforms, and batch programming.
