Experienced HVAC Apprentice / InstallerJob Summary

Rocky Point Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an experienced HVAC Apprentice / Installer to join our growing team.

We are a locally owned, family-run company serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas, specializing in residential heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems.

This position is intended for an apprentice or installer who already has hands-on HVAC installation experience and is looking to continue developing their skills with the goal of becoming a Lead Installer.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of HVAC installation experience, can work with limited supervision, understands proper installation practices, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

Install residential heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and ductless mini-split systems
Assist with and eventually lead residential HVAC installations
Install line sets, drains, controls, and equipment according to manufacturer specifications
Assist with equipment startup and commissioning
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
Work closely with senior installers to further develop technical skills
Follow company installation standards and safety procedures

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience required
Registered HVAC/Refrigeration apprentice preferred
Experience installing ductless and ducted heat pump systems
Comfortable using hand and power tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Valid BC Driver’s License

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
