Join the Coast Tire Team as an Automotive Service Advisor! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every vehicle owner. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and exceptional customer service skills will drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Duties

Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs to facilitate efficient service.
Provide detailed auto estimates for repairs and maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
Communicate clearly with technicians regarding vehicle issues and ensure timely updates to customers throughout the repair process.
Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle diagnostics and mechanical assessments to maximize shop productivity and customer value.
Manage service writing tasks by preparing work orders, processing invoices, and handling cash transactions accurately.
Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to prioritize repairs such as wheel alignments, suspension work, tire replacements, or complex diagnostics.
Foster strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

Proven dealership experience or prior auto service management background is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and mechanical systems including transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspensions, shocks & struts, tire services, diesel engines, air brakes, and auto body repairs.
Experience with auto estimating software and service writing is essential.
Demonstrated ability in upselling services while maintaining integrity and transparency with customers.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor.
Mechanical experience or background as a mechanic or service technician is advantageous.
Familiarity with automotive sales processes and automobile sales techniques is a plus.
