Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and friendly transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to serve the community while maintaining flexible working hours in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations promptly and comfortably
Greet passengers courteously and assist with boarding and luggage as needed
Follow designated routes or navigate using GPS to ensure timely arrivals
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide receipts when necessary
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and comfort
Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
Manage scheduling efficiently to maximize service availability during assigned shifts
Communicate effectively with dispatch or customers regarding pick-up locations or delays

Experience

Valid class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record
Prior experience in driving, especially commercial or taxi driving, is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse passengers
Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and efficient route planning
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is advantageous but not mandatory

This role is essential for providing dependable transportation services while ensuring passenger safety and satisfaction. We value professionalism, punctuality, and a friendly attitude in our drivers.

Pay: $16.75-$35.00 per hour
