About the Job

Our team is growing, and Marcon Metalfab (www.marconmetal.com) is hiring multiple Ironworkers / Field Welders to join our dynamic team based in Delta’s Tilbury Park.

About the Position:
Shift - Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).

Responsibilities:

Travel to sites throughout the lower mainland.
Welding in the flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
Secure necessary jigs and fixtures, filler material to properly perform welding operations.
Practice good housekeeping to keep the work site clear of hazards.
Participate in safety meetings.

Requirements:

Must have own transportation and a valid driver’s license to get to job sites.
CWB certified in all positions.
2+ years of hands-on welding experience, including stick (SMAW) and flex-core.
Ability to independently lift 50 – 100 lbs.
Ability to work at heights.
Able to read shop drawings, weld symbols, specifications for direction as to final product.
