Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Curry Cook / Indian Kitchen Cook to join our team.

The ideal candidate has experience preparing Indian curries, gravies, sauces, rice, proteins, vegetables, and daily kitchen prep. You should be comfortable working in a busy restaurant kitchen while maintaining consistency, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare Indian curries, gravies, sauces, and base preparations
Cook menu items during service while maintaining quality and consistency
Prepare proteins, vegetables, rice, lentils, marinades, and daily prep
Follow recipes, portion sizes, and restaurant standards
Keep your station clean, organized, and ready for service
Follow food safety, storage, labeling, and sanitation procedures
Support the kitchen team during prep, rushes, opening, and closing

Requirements

Experience cooking Indian food in a restaurant or commercial kitchen
Knowledge of Indian curries, gravies, spices, and prep
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Clean, organized, and team-oriented
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
