Job Overview
We are seeking experienced residential and commercial painters to join our professional team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction painting, restoration, and industrial painting, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. This role requires individuals who are skilled in various painting techniques, can read schematics and blueprints, and are capable of working efficiently in both residential and commercial settings. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude to ensure client satisfaction on every project.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools with precision and consistency
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
Perform restoration work on existing structures, including surface repairs and refinishing
Operate rigging equipment as needed for high or hard-to-reach areas
Utilize carpentry skills for minor framing or repair tasks related to painting projects
Manage time effectively to complete projects within scheduled deadlines
Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of debris
Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress

Qualifications

Proven experience in residential and commercial painting, including construction painting and industrial applications
Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, and rigging equipment
Strong background in restoration work and surface preparation techniques
Ability to read schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
Experience with carpentry or related construction skills is a plus
Ability to work safely at heights using rigging equipment when necessary
Prior experience with customer service is desirable but not required
