Our Legal Department is seeking a Claims Assistant to join their team!
Reporting to the Supervisor, Claims Administration, you will provide support for the provision of effective and efficient office services, coordinating and/or performing general administrative, clerical and secretarial functions for the department, section or group under guidance and direction.
- As Claims Assistant, you will assist with and/or coordinate the daily administrative activities of the department/section.
- You will prepare and/or assist with the preparation of correspondence and/or documentation on behalf of the department/section in accordance with department/section standards.
- Assist with the monitoring, tracking and updating of information/data/records, ensuring accuracy and following up as required.
- Plan and organize activities / projects to meet section and organizational goals
- Create, document, and manage information and records
- Use office technology, software and applications
- Maintain documentation and historical records
Your educational background with include completion of secondary school education, and post secondary education is an asset, in a relevant discipline or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent is integral and will contribute to the success in this role.
