GraniteFuel Engineering is a fast-growing Canadian company that provides equipment and service for sustainable energy industry. We design and build innovative renewable natural gas systems for the upgrading of landfill or digester gas to renewable pipeline quality gas. GraniteFuel’s unique fuel conditioning solutions are custom designed for each application to provide consistent and efficient reduction of fuel contaminants.
Position Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Representative to support the growth of our business. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing opportunities for GraniteFuel technologies and services that reduce VOC and other unwanted fluid contaminants for our clients spanning multiple industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in industries such as oil & gas, pharmaceuticals, industrial manufacturing, waste management and power generation.
- Develop a strong pipeline of projects involving GrantieFuel’s unique emissions control technology that might replace alternative systems such as thermal/catalytic oxidizers, flares, media-based capture systems, membrane systems etc.
- Engage with plant managers, environmental engineers, and sustainability leaders to understand emissions challenges and regulatory requirements.
- Present and promote technical solutions that align with customer operational and/or compliance needs.
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, and ROI analyses for presentation to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with in-house engineering and technical teams to ensure solutions are properly scoped and delivered.
- Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations, carbon markets, and incentive programs.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of sales experience in industrial equipment, environmental services, or energy markets.
- Strong understanding of air emissions, air pollution control technologies, or sustainability solutions.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with consultative or solution-based selling.
- Willingness to travel as required.

- Analytical thinking and financial acumen (ROI, payback modeling).

Preferred Experience
- Experience with VOC abatement systems.
- Existing network within target industries.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
