Junior Area Sales Manager

Fieldgate Retirement Living is seeking a compassionate, relationship-driven Junior Area Sales Manager to support the continued growth and success of our retirement communities. Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing, this position will contribute to the success of multiple communities by blending thoughtful relationship-building, strategic insight, and hands-on collaboration with on-site teams. Through a balance of data-informed decision-making and heartfelt engagement, the Junior Area Sales Manager will help enhance the resident experience, strengthen community presence, and support sustainable growth across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Revenue Growth
- Drive occupancy and revenue performance across assigned communities by executing strategic sales initiatives and achieving defined targets.
- Analyze lead metrics, conversion ratios, and sales funnel performance to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Leverage CRM data to monitor sales activity, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy, ensuring consistent reporting and accountability.
Marketing & Business Development
- Support, develop and execute integrated marketing and outreach strategies that increase brand awareness and lead generation.
- Identify local market trends, competitor positioning, and demographic opportunities to inform targeted campaigns and community positioning.
- Build, grow, and manage a strong network of referral sources and strategic partnerships within healthcare, community organizations, and local influencers.
- Support and execute high-impact events, tours, and promotional initiatives designed to convert prospects into residents.
Coaching, Training & Team Development
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to community Sales Consultants to enhance closing effectiveness and consistency.
- Support onboarding and training of new sales team members, ensuring alignment with company sales processes and standards.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Operational Alignment & Sales Execution
- Collaborate with General Managers and operational leaders to align sales strategies with resident experience and service delivery.
- Provide hands-on sales support within communities as needed, including lead follow-up, tours, and closing support.
- Develop and execute community-specific business development plans to drive sustained occupancy growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience within retirement living, senior housing, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets, with strong knowledge of consultative selling and relationship management.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and influence sales teams to improve performance.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a results-driven environment.
- Experience in community outreach, networking, and partnership development is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Passion for enhancing the lives of seniors through quality service and meaningful engagement.
Compensation
$70,000 annually + performance-based bonus
