Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining high-quality commercial properties. As a Maintenance Labourer, you will play a key role in assisting the Grass Cutting Lead Hand with daily site operations and ensuring our clients' properties look their best.

Geoscape Contracting is a pioneer in the green industry specializing in landscape construction for many large commercial and urban developers, with projects spanning across the GTA. We dedicate ourselves to all aspects of commercial landscaping, including but not limited to; softscaping, hardscaping, grading, retaining walls, plant installation, sodding, terraseeding, park construction and trucking.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain safety as number one priority in all daily activities;
Conduct all business in a positive and professional fashion ensuring Geoscape’s Core Values are being represented to the highest standards.
Communicate effectively with Operations Manager and Grass Cutting Lead Hand to ensure job requirements are satisfied on time;
Adept at operating ride-on lawn mowers, line trimmers, and blowers for property maintenance.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines effectively.
Responsible for tracking and communicating jobsite weeding requirements across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
Be prepared to work outdoors in inclement weather;
Help maintain and ensure organization of the Geoscape farm;
Possession of spraying and chainsaw operation licenses is considered an asset.
Valid G driver’s license required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including inclement weather.
Strong ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
Previous experience in the landscaping industry is considered an asset.
Previous experience with lawn care maintenance is considered an asset.
