Full job description

We’re looking for a part-time Line Cook / Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a busy, quality-driven wine bar in Toronto.

We’re a small kitchen focused on seasonal ingredients, thoughtful technique, and contemporary cooking, with a strong emphasis on consistency and quality. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional, supportive kitchen team.

Responsibilities

Execute dishes to a consistently high standard during service
Run a station independently and efficiently
Complete daily prep and mise en place
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
Work closely with the Chef and kitchen team during service
Follow recipes, prep lists, and kitchen standards
Assist with receiving, storage, ordering, and closing duties

Qualifications

Previous experience in a quality-focused restaurant kitchen
CDP or strong line cook experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of fundamental cooking techniques
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Culinary school not required
