Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and adherence to blueprints and schematics. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, welding techniques, and structural steel to produce high-quality products efficiently. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including structural components, railings, platforms, beams, piling, shoring, and custom assemblies in a dynamic environment.

We are also seeking individuals with Welding Supervisor Credentials.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication specifications
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals with precision to meet quality standards
Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure accurate dimensions and tolerances
Rigging materials and components safely for assembly or installation processes
Assist with assembly of fabricated parts into final products or systems
Conduct quality checks on finished work using schematics, calipers, and basic math skills
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols including crane operation and forklift handling when necessary

Experience

Proven experience and certification in welding (MIG, TIG) within a manufacturing or construction environment
Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes, schematics reading, and blueprint interpretation
Familiarity with machining tools, power tools, hand tools, and plasma cutting equipment
Knowledge of rigging, crane operation, forklift handling, and associated processes and/or NDT is a plus
Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and material quantities
Experience working with structural steel, tubing, railing, architectural elements, or similar construction projects is desirable
Prior exposure to schematics reading and assembly tasks in manufacturing settings is preferred
