InVision is a Professional Recruitment Firm specializing in Engineering, Industrial/Skilled Trades, Information Technology and Professional Services within Canada and the U.S. We have a successful track record working on both small and large recruitment projects, across North America.

Our client, a well-established leader in fluid-flow technology and commercial pump manufacturing, is seeking a Test Operator to join their growing manufacturing team.

Responsibilities:

Load and unload pumps from the test stand and complete setup for testing, including electrical connections and installation of test instrumentation.
Operate pump testing equipment and computerized test systems according to established procedures.
Monitor and review test results to verify that all required specifications and performance criteria are met.
Identify and report testing issues, failures, or non-conformances to the appropriate quality personnel.
Ensure test results and documentation are accurately saved and maintained in the appropriate computer files.
Program and adjust variable frequency drive (VFD) parameters when required.
Use measurement instrumentation including flow meters, pressure transducers, and power meters.
Follow established safety, quality, and testing procedures at all times.
Read and interpret work orders, technical documents, testing procedures, and specifications.
Maintain an organized and safe work area.

Qualifications:

Electrical or mechanical technician experience, with a diploma or trade certificate in an electrical or mechanical discipline preferred.
Experience working with computers and testing software, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Excel.
Hands-on experience using measurement and testing instrumentation.
Previous experience with product testing in accordance with established procedures or technical specifications.
Manufacturing or industrial experience, particularly in a hands-on testing or production environment.
Ability to read and understand work orders, technical documents, and specifications.
Strong mathematical skills; Grade 12 or equivalent required.
Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance practices, including inspection checks and documenting non-conformances.
Experience programming VFD parameters is considered an asset.
Experience working in an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
