Full job description

Casa 1881 is a modern Italian restaurant located inside The Windsor Hotel in the heart of Stratford. Inspired by the timeless hospitality of Italy, we offer handcrafted cocktails, an all-Italian wine list, and authentic cuisine in an elegant yet welcoming setting.

This is a hands-on role behind the bar, with opportunities to serve tables during quieter periods or as business needs require.

What You'll Do

Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
Provide knowledgeable wine recommendations and food pairings, with an emphasis on Italian wines
Deliver exceptional service to guests at both the bar and dining tables
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
Assist with inventory, ordering, and maintaining bar standards
Ensure Smart Serve, AGCO, and food safety standards are followed
Help train and mentor other team members as the restaurant grows
Work closely with the management and culinary teams to create memorable dining experiences

What We're Looking For

Previous bartending experience in a full-service restaurant
Smart Serve Certification (required)
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and spirits
Passion for Italian cuisine, Italian wines, and hospitality
Experience with wine service and food pairing is a strong asset
Friendly, professional, and confident with guests
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Evening and weekend availability
