Are you a BCBA and experienced clinical leader looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact? Capital Family Services is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our Behavioural & Stabilization Services team.
The Clinical Supervisor plays a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based clinical services while supporting the professional growth and development of our clinical team. Reporting to the Clinical Director of Behavioural & Stabilization Services, this position provides clinical supervision, consultation, training, and program oversight to Behaviour Clinicians, Behaviour Technicians, and Behaviour Health Workers.

What You'll Do
Clinical Supervision & Consultation
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to Behaviour Clinicians, Behaviour Technicians, and Behaviour Health Workers.
- Provide fieldwork supervision to Behaviour Clinicians pursuing BCBA certification.
- Support staff in implementing effective, evidence-based treatment plans and interventions.
- Coach and mentor team members to strengthen clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and professional competency.
- Ensure clinical practices align with applicable BACB requirements and professional standards.
Training & Professional Development
- Deliver structured staff training using Behaviour Skills Training (BST) and departmental skills checklists.
- Identify training and development needs and support ongoing professional growth.
- Coach staff in intervention strategies, crisis response, behavioural assessment, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and professional development.
Clinical Program Oversight & Compliance
- Support the Clinical Director in maintaining compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Oversee key clinical processes, including Clinical Intake, Practical Behaviour Assessments (PBA), Safety & Crisis Response Plans (SCRP), Personalized Treatment Plans (PTP), and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Monitor program integrity and treatment fidelity to ensure services are delivered as intended.
- Ensure clinical services meet applicable regulatory, ethical, and professional standards.
Case Monitoring & Documentation
- Monitor client progress and use data to inform clinical decision-making and treatment strategies.
- Ensure clinical records are accurate, timely, complete, and compliant with privacy and documentation requirements.
- Review assessments, progress updates, intervention plans, termination reports, and session notes.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support teams in achieving positive client outcomes.
- Prepare clinical reports and documentation for internal teams, funding organizations, and collaborative partners as required.
Crisis Management & Problem-Solving
- Provide clinical guidance and support during crisis situations.
- Utilize effective de-escalation and intervention strategies to promote client and team safety.
- Work collaboratively with staff to develop risk management strategies for clients with complex behavioural needs.
- Provide emergency clinical support when required.
- Recognize and appropriately report concerns related to abuse, neglect, or safety.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Participate in weekly clinical meetings and contribute to case planning and clinical decision-making.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to strengthen service delivery and client outcomes.
- Create an environment where staff feel supported in discussing challenges, asking questions, and sharing ideas.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Demonstrated experience conducting behavioural assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Strong clinical leadership, supervision, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Experience providing or supporting BCBA fieldwork supervision is an asset.
- Strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable children, youth, adults, and families.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to make data-informed clinical decisions.
- Experience delivering staff training using Behaviour Skills Training (BST) or similar competency-based approaches.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and clinical responsibilities.
- A collaborative and empathetic leadership style that promotes a safe, supportive, and accountable environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical, evidence-based practice.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, email, and cloud-based systems.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours as required to meet client, assessment, meeting, and operational needs.

Pay: $54.00-$62.00 per hour
