Your Responsibilities
The Proposal Writer will be primarily responsible for preparing service proposals and marketing documents. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Reading and understanding RFP (Request for Proposal) documents
- Organizing kickoff and follow-up meetings for the preparation of service proposals
- Collaborating with a member of senior management to establish the proposal strategy (project team, relevant experience, methodology, and other required content)
- Researching, writing, and revising project sheets, résumés, project approach sections, firm profiles, etc.
- Planning and meeting project timelines to ensure on-time submission of proposals
- Performing layout and final assembly, while ensuring the quality of deliverables
- Coordinating the delivery and submission of the proposal document
- Keeping the proposal database up to date at all times
Your Profile
- College or university degree in a relevant field
- Experience in a similar role (consulting engineering, architecture, or construction) is considered an asset
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong aptitude for writing and editing technical documents
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word; knowledge of Excel and Adobe InDesignDemonstrates thoroughness, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Excellent priority management, fast execution, and strong organizational skills

Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year, with final compensation determined based on experience, qualifications, scope of the role and geographic location.
