HOURS: Full time, permanent. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (some flexibility required for events and content capture)

WAGES: $60,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications) + benefits

ROLE IDENTITY:

The Marketing & Events Manager is the hands-on creative and content lead for Centennial Auto Group, responsible for bringing campaigns, events, and storytelling to life across all Centennial divisions.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

PRIMARY OWNERSHIP

Social Media Management
- Manage and schedule content across multiple social media accounts and brands
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and approval processes
- Monitor social channels and engage with inquiries/comments to support community engagement.
- Construct social media campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content strategies
Content Creation & Brand Storytelling
- Build and maintain consistent branding and messaging across all Centennial divisions
- Develop creative content that showcases inventory, promotions, events, staff, customer experiences, and community involvement
- Create engaging photo, video, and written content for social media, digital campaigns, newsletters, websites, and internal marketing initiatives
- Capture and edit short-form video content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Events & Community Presence
- Organize dealership and community events (e.g. Centennial Classic, grand openings, small car shows) and provide promotional coverage
- Launch sponsorship activations, partnerships, and community-focused initiatives
- Occasionally attend events outside regular business hours as required

COLLABORATION & SUPPORT

Marketing & Communications Strategy
- Contribute to campaign direction and strategy across digital and traditional channels in collaboration with the Director of Communications, with this role leading execution and on-the-ground activation
- Support website updates, email marketing initiatives, and promotional communications
- Coordinate marketing assets and content requests with internal teams and external partners
- Maintain organized content calendars and marketing schedules

REPORTING & INSIGHTS

Data & Analytics
- Support the Director of Communications in tracking and reporting on social media and digital marketing performance
- Provide insights and recommendations to the Director of Communications to improve engagement, reach, and campaign effectiveness
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to grow audience engagement and brand visibility

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

3-5+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, content creation, social media management, communications, or a related field preferred
Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field is considered an asset
Experience in event management/coordination preferred
Photography and videography experience is strongly preferred
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Filmora, Photoshop, or similar editing/design software
Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools is considered an asset
Experience with website management, email marketing, or paid digital advertising is considered an asset
Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace
Valid Canadian driver’s license (travel between locations will be required)
