Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking dedicated and skilled Red Seal Millwrights to join their team. As a Red Seal Millwright, you will be an integral part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Red Seal Millwrights
Location: Hants Port, NS
Pay Range: Based on Skills and Qualification
What's the Job?
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Work with blueprints to assemble equipment, power transmission systems, and hydraulics
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Replace parts and components as needed, adhering to safety standards
- Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations of manufacturing equipment
What's Needed?
- Red Seal certification as a Millwright
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Willingness to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
