Arbour Glen Day Nursery is seeking an experienced leader with a deep knowledge of childcare and The Early Years Act of 2014, licensing, child development, management, and community building. Located in London, Ontario's vibrant and family-focused Old North community, the centre is licensed for 72 children from infant through preschool.
The responsibilities of the Program Supervisor include, but are not limited to overseeing the day-to-day operations, inspiring, and leading the Educators to work at their highest capacity, building trust with multiple families, and ensuring that all legislative requirements are met. We are seeking a highly skilled, effective, and experienced leader who can inspire and collaborate with staff, families, and children.

Licensing and Regulatory Compliance
- Working knowledge of the CCEYA.
- Working Knowledge of:The Ontario Human Rights Code
Employment Standards Act (ESA)
Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Ensuring the centre is compliant with all provincial and region of London/Middlesex requirements.
- Updating all records, including but not limited to:
Children’s medical records and forms.
Allergy and food restrictions.
Employee records.
Volunteer required documentation.
Weekly and monthly forms for all programs.
Inspirational Leadership
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a licensed childcare centre is an asset.
- Providing knowledge and support to staff to ensure programs meet and exceed requirements.
Curriculum and Development
- Responsible for ensuring that children with special needs are appropriately cared for and that training is in place to knowledgeably support their needs. This includes working with Resource Consultants and outside agencies, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists.
Qualifications
- Registered with the College of ECE’s as a member in good standing (RECE).
- Early Childhood Education Diploma from a recognized college or university.
Required Documentation
- Current and clear Vulnerable Sector Check (Police Reference Check).
- Up-to-Date Vaccination Record
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR (Level C).
