Summary

The Reefer Installer is a vital role within our company. This position involves installing and maintaining reefer units on transportation vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability, supporting our mission to provide top-tier transportation solutions.

Responsibilities

Mounting new and/or used trailer and/or truck refrigeration systems onto new truck/trailer equipment using overhead cranes, forklifts, or other lifting devices
Mounting fuel tanks and running fuel lines;
Installation of new chutes, bulkheads, center divide systems, telematics/GPS systems, solar panels, etc;
Repairs to refrigerated transportation equipment based on skillset and experience;
Other various duties as required.

Qualifications

Prior experience in reefer or refrigeration installation is preferred - factory training would be an asset.
Basic hand tool experience would be an asset.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be self-managed.
Able to work in non-climate controlled environment.
Evening/weekend work is required with overtime opportunities.
Ability to regularly lift and or move up to 25lbs/12kgs, frequently lift and or move up to 50lbs / 23kgs and occasionally lift and or move up to 100bs / 45kgs.
Must have a "go getter" attitude and strong customer service skills.

Compensation: Starting from $28/hr., based on experience and skillset

Shift: Monday - Friday, from 5:00 pm - 1:00 am
