Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our multidisciplinary health clinic. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with scheduling and bookings, and experience in a busy office setting. The receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining smooth clinic operations and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a positive first impression of the clinic
Answer phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
Handle appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reminders efficiently
Process payments and issue receipts
Verify and submit insurance claims when applicable
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming

Experience

Prior experience as a receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and providers
Comfortable using scheduling software, email, and basic computer programs
Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
