Job Description – On-Farm Trucker (Class 1A)
We are looking to add a reliable on-farm trucker for the 2026 harvest season and potentiall beyond, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time, year-round position for the right individual.
This role is well suited to a Class 1A driver who prefers local hauling, predictable routes, and being home every night, rather than long-haul work.

Key Responsibilities
- Operating farm-based semi trucks and grain trailers
- Hauling grain, fertilizer, seed, and inputs:
- Field to yard
- Yard to elevator or processor
- Local and regional routes
- Coordinating with equipment operators during seeding and harvest
- Performing basic servicing, inspections, and maintenance on trucks and trailers
- Assisting with yard duties, grain handling, and general farm support as needed
- Seasonal hours with peak demand during spring seeding and fall harvest
This is primarily a trucking role, with additional farm support during slower periods.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1A license required
- Previous agricultural hauling or farm experience considered an asset
- Strong mechanical awareness and respect for equipment
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons
Applicants without a Class 1A may be considered if willing to obtain licensing — training and licensing costs can be provided for the right candidate.
