Security Officer

Titan Security is a company based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia, established in 2016. Providing various services, such as mobile patrol, loss prevention, event and static security, and long-term care support, our focus is how we can better support our communities, especially the people within them.

Our company's foundation is infused with deep-rooted, moral, and ethical values that strongly represent who we are. We are a team of well-experienced professionals equipped with a broad spectrum of skill sets, making us qualified to deliver “non-violent” services that are unique to this industry.

Duties and responsibilities

Interact professionally with co-workers, residents, and clients.
Respond to complaints and concerns from staff, clients, and residents and escalate accordingly (i.e., fire, theft, threats, etc.).
Report writing (incidents, shift reports, daily pass-on books, and vehicle maintenance logs)
Implement security measures to protect property, residents, and staff; patrol assigned areas to monitor activities; and ensure rules and regulations are followed.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Dynamic and team-oriented.
Delivering top-class service to our customers through effective communication and the ability to build and foster relationships.
Proactive and curious with a desire to learn and grow.
Maintain integrity, clear written and oral communication skills, basic computer knowledge and maintain a high standard of customer service
Ideally 1.5+ years of experience in a Security Guard role.

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
