About the Role
This is a production line position in a small manufacturing facility in Okotoks. You will manufacture bath and body products by following exact standard operating procedures, batch records, and formulation sheets.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, daytime hours only — no evenings, no weekends. You'll be home by mid-afternoon with a consistent, predictable weekly schedule.
You'll follow established recipes and procedures to produce bath and body products. The work is structured and hands-on — if you've ever followed a recipe at scale, prepped in a commercial kitchen, or managed farm tasks, you'll understand the rhythm. Consistency and attention to detail matter most.
This is manufacturing work, not a creative or retail role. If you make bath products at home as a hobby, this will be very different from that experience.
What You'll Do Daily
- Follow written recipes to measure, mix, and batch bath and body products
- Fill, cap, label, and package finished products
- Complete daily batches on schedule and keep production moving
- Maintain accurate batch records and quality documentation
- Clean and maintain equipment and workspace
- Track inventory levels and communicate when materials need reordering
- Work with the team to keep workflow running smoothly
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
This is active production work in a manufacturing environment.
- Standing and moving for most of a 6-hour shift
- Repetitive hand and arm movements: measuring, scooping, filling, capping, labeling
- Lifting and moving materials up to 25 kg regularly
- Working with powders, oils, and raw materials (you will get dusty and messy)
- Strong fragrance exposure throughout the workspace
- Production quotas must be met consistently — this is not a slow-paced environment
- You'll go home smelling like lavender (or whatever we produced that day)
Schedule & Why It Works
- Monday to Friday, daytime hours only (no evenings, no weekends)
- Consistent weekly schedule
- Home by mid-afternoon
- Stable, predictable hours
- Ideal for supplemental household income with a family-friendly schedule
Experience That Translates
We're looking for people with hands-on experience in:
- Home-scale or commercial baking (batch cooking, following recipes precisely, large-scale meal prep)
- Farm work or agricultural production (milking, processing, animal care, crop work, hands-on farm tasks)
- Commercial kitchen or food production (catering, bakery, food manufacturing, restaurant prep)
- Large-scale home cooking or preserving (canning, batch cooking, family meal preparation)
NOT hobby crafting, Etsy businesses, or experimental product making.
What Makes Someone Successful in This Role
Our most reliable team members have been people who:
- Have years of hands-on work experience and know what a full day's work looks like
- Understand that consistency and reliability matter more than speed or enthusiasm
- Have managed repetitive tasks before (cooking for a family, farm chores, production kitchens, batch work)
- Can follow detailed written instructions independently without supervision
- Are looking for stable, long-term employment — not exploring career options
- Don't mind getting messy and take pride in getting the work done right
- Value predictable weekday hours and steady, dependable work
This Role Is For Someone Who:
- Has experience in hands-on production, cooking, farming, or similar physical work
- Is comfortable doing repetitive tasks at a steady pace for the entire shift
- Prefers clear procedures and structure over variety or flexibility
- Understands the difference between home cooking/crafting and commercial production
- Wants stable, long-term weekday employment with no evenings or weekends
This Role Is NOT For Someone Who:
- Is looking for short-term, seasonal, or transitional work
- Needs evening/weekend hours or expects schedule changes soon
- Is uncomfortable with physically demanding or repetitive tasks
- Makes bath/body products as a hobby and expects this to be similar
- Is exploring career changes or unsure about long-term commitment
Requirements
- 18+ years old
- Available weekdays only during daytime hours (no evenings or weekends)
- Physically able to perform production work as described above
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions exactly
- Comfortable with basic math and measurements
- Able to read and speak English clearly (for safety and documentation)
- Reliable transportation to Okotoks, AB
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently once trained
- Long-term availability — we are not hiring for seasonal or short-term positions
